What the score sees
The audit checks whether AI agents can find your brand, understand the path, complete useful actions, recover from errors, and trust what they see. Each check is tied to evidence an agent can actually read—not a vague readiness claim.
Can an agent reliably find and identify the right pages? The audit looks for signals such as a crawlable sitemap, robots.txt rules, schema, Open Graph metadata, and llms.txt. A common failure is a key product or policy page missing from the sitemap or blocked from crawlers.
Can an agent move from a broad question to the specific answer or action? Evidence includes descriptive links, semantic headings, breadcrumbs, FAQs, and connected documentation. Weak labels such as “Learn more,” broken internal links, or pages with no clear hierarchy can leave an agent without a dependable next step.
Can an agent complete a useful task instead of only reading marketing copy? The audit checks for structured pricing, machine-readable contact details, APIs, and programmatic alternatives to visual-only controls. A form that depends on unlabeled fields or client-side interactions with no accessible state is a typical failure mode.
Can an agent understand what went wrong and continue safely? Evidence includes useful 404 pages, rate-limit headers, structured error responses, and clear help paths. Generic errors, silent failures, or dead ends that offer no retry guidance lower the score because the agent cannot confidently recover.
Can an agent verify who is responsible for the site and how data or automated access is handled? The audit checks privacy, terms, security disclosures, and agent-specific policies. Missing ownership details, outdated policies, or contradictory claims make it harder to trust and cite the information.
